this is the grace only we could bestow. |
My name is Francesca. I spend most of my time watching movies, sleeping, and writing anything and everything that is on my mind. Expect to see a lot of movie quotes, London photos, and several pictures of cats. |
I love how any time I am upset and crying, my cats come to my rescue. They immediately climbed on my lap and began purring to comfort me. How could this not make me feel better? šā¤š #timmythecat #garfieldthecat #catperson #catsarebetterthanpeople (at Mama Basinger’s Casa š šŗ)

The Seven Mile Bridge is a famous bridge in the Florida Keys, in Monroe County, Florida, United States. At one point called the 8th wonder of the world, this amazing ribbon of steel and concrete forever changed the history of the Florida Keys and linked the mainland of Florida to Key West.

People being angry about ~dem gays~ on Targetās Facebook.
I just want to give my two cents on this and tell you a story.
A couple weeks ago, I was hired at Target. I have a job at Target. Not a big deal right?
It is a big deal because iām a transman.Ā
It doesnāt take a genius to conclude that itās hard for me, my brothers, and sisters to get a job. There are legal restraints regarding the job and if you donāt pass, itās hard to be taken seriously at a job interview.
Right on the application, it asks what yourĀ preferredĀ name is. It also asks if there is anything that target should know. I put the fact that I am a transman, expecting not to get a call because usually when you put that down, people will throw out the application. I got TWO interviews.
At the interview, they asked me about it. I told them I am on hormones and they told me that they didnāt care. Not in the sense that they donāt emotionally care, but that it didnāt matter. I was male and thatās all that mattered. They also told me that they give sex same couplesĀ benefitsĀ in states that do notĀ recognizeĀ them as a married couple.
At my job orientation, I was not misgendered once. Even my supervisors who werenāt sure of my gender avoided pronoun use, which I found only happens when youāve had pronoun training. They gave me a name tag with myĀ preferredĀ name and didnāt ask questions. I felt safe and respected, which is huge for a trans* person.
TLDR: Target is amazing not just for the LGB, but also the T. Shop there for the rest of your life..
